Golondrina, a countryman with very well-established values ββwho is said to have inspired the zamba "Mi luna cautiva" (My Captive Moon), returns to the village at an advanced age. He is going to confront an old rival for the love of a woman who no longer exists, but whom they both find in the spitting image of her daughter.
