Lovely follows the story of two people who have been in love in many different lifetimes, in many different ways; many different ways for one, the exact same for the other. Emily is the lover. James is the loved. From diner booths to western towns, to plant stores, and to space, her love remains. But we canβt get what we want in every timeline. We want it because maybe we get it in one, so some part of every version of us knows what that feels like. So we chase, and we try, and we fail, again and again, because maybe this is the timeline where we win. She wants to win, but will she in the timeline she's left with?
